PvE vs PvP zones
In the shared-world game, the Deep Desert is split: rows A–E are PvE zones, rows F–I are PvP zones with increased PvE output. Shield Wall coverage along rows A/B gives PvE players fixed protected ground. This matters more in multiplayer; solo play avoids contested zones entirely.
How to choose
Play multiplayer if you want the living economy — Exchange trading, guilds, and the weekly Deep Desert race. Play solo if you want the survival-crafting experience without other players. Note that the Exchange (player-driven trading) only has real depth on populated multiplayer Worlds.
| Factor | Solo | Multiplayer |
|---|---|---|
| Other players | None | A shared World with other players |
| Exchange depth | No active player market | A living player economy |
| Deep Desert | No contest | A weekly PvE/PvP race |
| Best for | Survival-crafting alone | Guilds, trading, contested play |
