Dune: Awakening Gear Drop Library — Named Loot Sources

All named gear and weapon drops in Dune: Awakening's Deep Desert. Item names, source Testing Stations, and drop rates in one searchable table.

Case Answer Verified Solution

The current Deep Desert rotation (week of 2026-09-22) records 16 named loot drops. Six come from Testing Stations, five from Loot Caves, and five from Wrecks. Most listed drop rates sit between 4% and 8%, and several source lists are truncated in the weekly feed with an '(and N more)' note, so the table below marks partial lists as such.

This page is the index of every named gear and weapon drop recorded in the current Deep Desert rotation. The rows are transcribed from the site’s weekly data; nothing is estimated beyond what the feed stores.

How to read the table

Each row below records one item. The “Visible sources” column lists exactly the locations stored in the weekly feed. When the feed ends in “(and N more)”, the row is marked partial list because additional source cells exist but are not stored here. Drop rate is the percentage attached to the visible sources; where the feed records two different percentages for the same item, both are shown.

How the drop loop works

Testing Stations, Loot Caves and Wrecks are the three named source types inside the Deep Desert. They respawn on the same Tuesday wipe as the rest of the rotation, so a station you cleared on Monday is not guaranteed to be there on Wednesday. Rows F-I are the PvP instance, where Funcom states rewards are higher; rows A-E are uncontested. Read the PvE versus PvP zones guide before you plan a farm.

Two rows in this table double as schematics: Compact Compactor Mk6, Focused Buggy Cutteray Mk6 and Young Sparky Mk6 also appear in the Mk6 schematics database, because the same named blueprint is both a craftable and a direct drop in different cells. For what each piece of gear does once you have it, see the weapons and gear guide.

What we don’t know

Every percentage on this page is community-reported. The site’s own data note says the rotation is compiled from a third-party companion tool and that drop rates are approximate. The “(and N more)” rows are deliberately incomplete: the feed stores three examples plus a counter, not the full cell list, so do not treat the visible stations as the only places an item drops. The PvP-row resource-and-spice yield bonus is officially confirmed at 2.5x [verified, Funcom]; Funcom has not published a separate per-item drop-rate multiplier for named gear, so the percentages above are the same community-reported values regardless of row.

Sources

  • This site’s rotation data: src/data/deep-desert.json, lootTable array (16 entries, week of 2026-09-22).
  • Funcom: weekly reset schedule, PvE/PvP instance split.
  • Third-party community companion: rotation feed and drop-rate estimates.

How to read this page: all 16 item names, source labels, grid cells and percentages are transcribed directly from the site’s weekly rotation JSON. The “(and N more)” markers are preserved verbatim from that feed; this page does not invent the hidden cells. The PvE/PvP framing and the Tuesday reset come from the Deep Desert page and the PvE/PvP zones guide. Drop rates are community-reported and approximate, as noted in the source data itself.

Frequently asked questions

Where do named items drop in Dune: Awakening?

In the current Deep Desert rotation, named items come from three source types: Testing Stations, Loot Caves, and Wrecks. Each source type sits in specific grid cells and each listed item carries a community-reported drop rate between 4% and 8%.

Why are some source lists marked 'partial list'?

The weekly rotation feed stores the first three source locations and an '(and N more)' counter rather than the full list. This page shows exactly what the feed contains and flags the rest as partial; the complete list of cells for a given item is available in game.

Do loot tables reset every week?

Yes. The Deep Desert wipes every Tuesday and the named loot pool, Testing Station locations and drop cells rotate with it. This page is the current week's record; prior weeks are in the [archive](/deep-desert/archive/).

Is the drop rate higher in PvP rows?

Funcom's help-center PvP FAQ confirms the PvP instance raises mining yield and spice harvesting by 2.5x (about 250%) [verified, Funcom]; that figure applies to resource and spice yield, not to the per-item drop percentages. The 4–8% rates shown here are community-reported values observed in the current rotation, not official Funcom numbers.
