Reported launch issues

As of the September 22, 2026 launch, the two most-reported console issues were UI sluggishness on PS5 (menus, inventory, Exchange interface) and texture hitches on Xbox Series X (streaming delays in dense areas). Neither has an official root-cause statement yet; both are the kind of thing hotfixes target in the first weeks.

Try this before reporting

A short, safe checklist that resolves most session-level problems:

• Install the latest patch; as of launch week, hotfixes shipped September 19, 21 and 22, and most ‘it’s broken’ reports were fixed by September 22’s build.
• Fully close and restart the app (not just suspend).
• Restart the console to clear cached state.
• Verify network: Dune: Awakening is online-only — UI lag can be latency, not rendering.
• Check server status in-game and official channels during maintenance windows.

When to report

If an issue reproduces across restarts and platforms-agnostic checks, report to Funcom support with a video and your platform/region. Reproducible reports get fixed faster; official patch notes are the source of truth for what changed.
