What Deep Desert Wiki is
Deep Desert Wiki is an independent, non-commercial fan companion for Dune: Awakening by Funcom. It exists to provide three things the existing wikis and tool sites do not cover well: a dated archive of every weekly Deep Desert rotation, console-first answers for PlayStation 5 and Xbox players, and the Exchange's fee and economy mechanics explained from official sources, with a working listing calculator.
How facts are verified
Official Funcom announcements, the Steam store page and official patch notes are treated as primary sources. Community findings are recorded separately, labelled, and re-checked. Each guide shows published and modified dates and carries a source note; anything that cannot be verified is explicitly marked as unconfirmed rather than presented as fact. When an official statement conflicts with older information, the official statement wins and the conflict is noted.
Why there is no live price board
We do not publish rolling Exchange prices, and this is a deliberate decision rather than a missing feature. Dune: Awakening has no official market API, the rules of conduct prohibit redirection of communications, third-party add-ons and interference with network play, and the game's anti-cheat treats these seriously. A live price feed would have to break at least one of those rules. Prices also pool per World, so a single global list would be wrong for most readers. What the Market section does instead is document the fixed mechanics, the daily and percentage fees, the 20-offer cap, the 30-day expiry and the terminal locations, and give you a calculator that works them out for any asking price.
Update schedule
The Deep Desert pages follow a fixed Tuesday schedule after each reset. Console pages are re-checked during every patch cycle. If you find an out-of-date or incorrect statement, email [email protected] with a source and it will be corrected or marked; verified corrections are prioritised.
Advertising
The site may display standard display advertising to cover hosting and data costs. It does not use intrusive, forced or screen-blocking advertising formats, and there is no paywall on any guide.
